Liars, Palindrome, and Paradox

We all change and we all are inherently the same.
You know how you can recommend an album to your friends based on what you know about their taste.
I would say mine is pretty predictable - if your music falls in the realm of dream pop, there's a good chance I'd like it.
Like many people, I got to know
Liars better with their latest release, WIXIW, which will surely end up on my fave albums of 2012 list.
But when I found out I'd be interviewing the band, I had to do some digging into their past catalogue.
Logic would say, Liars' back catalogue is not my cup of tea, but logic was wrong.
Maybe I was influenced by all their experimental/conceptual videos on their sites and their persistence to stay true to their artistic vision.
Anyhow, I am grateful to have had the opportunity to pick their brains though it was a bit stressful.
What could I possibly ask that hasn't already answered in the past and to a band that wants and needs certain amount of mystery…
And you only get 15-20minutes in the hot evening air, and the main lavaliere system mysteriously decided to malfunction on the spot, though I tested everything the night before…. Likely, the chaps of Liars were not synonymous with their mischievous name.

Business Videos

I usually like to blog about music related stuff but I suppose I am a "business" after all.
In addition to my regular clients, I recently started doing business videos for Turn Here and here's the last two I did.
These are quick solo gigs that doesn't have the budget for lighting crew, fancy moves, etc.
But I think they get the message across.
If you want to help me cut the "middle man" out, please contact for more details.
Packages start at $300. and I am open to bartering.
